Turning a Scroll into a Sensory Moment

Introduction

To launch the new Diplos Max+, Kooky Co. designed a micro-interaction that transforms a simple scroll into a sensory moment. Instead of dropping users straight onto a product page, we crafted a controlled reveal—a cinematic top-view of three Diplos Max+ scooters that gradually unfolds as the user scrolls.

movement becomes
the story.

As the user progresses, the camera glides downward, unveiling the three signature colours—Blaze Red, Piano Black, and Volt Blue—standing tall against the Diplos emblem and the powerful line, “Gets it done.” The transition creates a sense of discovery, turning a passive visit into an intentional journey.

Why it works

In the crowded EV category, attention is currency.

This 5-second interaction does three things exceptionally well:
Stimulates curiosity:
The mysterious top view invites the user to engage, not skim.
Builds anticipation:
The controlled pace mirrors how a person might approach a product in real life—stepping closer to inspect.
Creates a sensory imprint:
Subtle motion, spatial depth, and colour contrast make the product feel more tactile and premium.

Outcome
